In the 1950’s, there was a public radio program hosted by Edward Murrow called “This I Believe.” People from all walks of life shared reflections on the core values that guided their daily lives. This year, CUUF is joining the many Unitarian Universalist fellowships that include an annual service inviting members to share their “I believe” reflections.
We are looking for three people to share a 3-5 minute I Believe statement at the service on Sunday, Oct. 11. Reflections typically include the following:
What experience fundamentally shaped how you see the world?
What value or truth keeps you grounded when life gets difficult?
How does your belief translate into how you treat others?
